The UK Housing Awards 2007
The UK Housing Awards 2007 celebrated their 11th year with an awards ceremony and lunch held on Monday 8 November at the London Hilton, Park Lane.
The aim of the event was to reflect some of the main issues and concerns that challenge the sector, and also to draw attention to the vital role that housing plays in the wellbeing and sustainability of our communities.
Hays Social Housing was pleased to sponsor the Creating Integrated Communities Award which was won by North Lanarkshire Council for their ‘Gateway Protection Programme’.
The other finalists were:
- The Vicinity Group for the LHT’s Approach to Youth Engagement
- Wulvern Housing for Webby’s Migrant Worker Support
- Yorkshire HG for Promoting services to Black and Minority Ethnic communities
- Peabody Trust for the Sundial Centre
