Scott Wilson, currently established as the ninth largest UK-based Engineering consultancy (NCE annual survey 2005), are a dynamic, international consultancy group providing inspiring, sustainable designs for development and infrastructure. Their aim is to add value to our Clients’ requests by providing integrated solutions and responses.
With over 4,000 staff nationally within four principal market sectors; transportation, property, environment and natural resources, we are able to deliver sustainable, cost effective solutions, which meet Clients’ needs from inception through to completion and operation.
As a result of extensive expansion plans Scott Wilson have recently acquired the business and assets of Ferguson McIlveen LLP (FM) for £10.1m. FM LLP is a leading consultancy in Northern Ireland, which is headquartered in Belfast, with offices in the Republic of Ireland, Glasgow, Chester, Guildford, Leeds, Middlesbrough, and Swansea, employing 250 people. It provides design consultancy services for the property; environment and infrastructure sectors and its specialist disciplines include Architecture, Water Engineering and Urban Design.
Recent NI Accolades
The presentation of the prestigious Commercial Architecture Award for the design of White Star House office accommodation in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. It is one of only twenty buildings to receive such an award in the UK and the only one from Northern Ireland.
Scott Wilson was also rewarded with an Irish Architecture Award for the innovative design of an Adult Education Centre in Larne, Northern Ireland. The object of the Irish Architecture Awards is to communicate the range, variety and quality of the architect's work and give immediate recognition to good architecture. The project was displayed with the RIAI Architecture Centre, which is the only dedicated exhibition facility for architecture and design in Ireland.
