Designs on a geotechnical engineering job?
Knowledge of geotechnical design methods for common design situations and computer design methods such as SLOPE, WALLAP, FREW, ALP are all desirable skills. Knowledge of PTS and the production of high quality geotechnical reports in accordance with HD22/02 and HD41/03 could also be requirements.
Good verbal and written skills are a pre-requisite and those in geotechnical engineering jobs are expected to be self motivated and possess exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
