Hays US poised for continued growth with new leadership and significant internal investment

February 22, 2018-Tampa, Florida – Hays, the world’s leading staffing and recruiting experts in qualified, professional and skilled people has announced that Dan Rodriguez, founder of Veredus Corporation and currently Chief Executive Officer of Hays US, will assume the role of Chairman of Hays US. David Brown, one of the equity partners of Veredus Corporation and currently Executive Vice President of Hays US, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Hays US has seen steady double digit growth since its acquisition of Veredus Corp in 2015 and achieved 17 percent growth year-on-year in 2017. The company is investing significantly for further growth, from an expanded leadership team and increased internal hiring, to extended benefits and training programs. In the coming years, the company expects to add new industries and functions to its specialisms, grow its geographical footprint, and invest in internal technology and infrastructure to further enhance its service offerings to clients and job seekers.

Dan and David both have more than 20 years of recruitment experience. Commenting on his appointment as Chairman of Hays US, Dan said he was thankful for the people who had helped build the company.

“I am honored to have led this company for the last 17 years. Since the acquisition three years ago, we have successfully integrated the company and two proud cultures while maintaining double digit annual growth,” he said. “We have laid the foundation for Hays US to achieve even greater things, and I am excited about assisting the business in this next phase at a more strategic and advisory level. In all that we have accomplished to date, Dave Brown has been one of the leaders driving our success. He has been preparing to be my successor for years, and I am confident Dave and his leadership team will take Hays US to even greater heights.”

David, who joined Veredus in 2005, said, “Over the past 13 years, I have watched this company grow and prosper from a small regional IT staffing company to the national multi-discipline business we are today.
I feel privileged to be able to take over for Dan and continue to lead us into the next stage, including expanding into new regions and specialisms. The work we have done in the last few years gives us a strong foundation on which to grow, and I look forward to being part of the team that makes us a national leader.”

Hays Americas Managing Director John Faraguna said he was very happy with progress since the Veredus acquisition. “Dan and David have done a tremendous job of building a leading staffing and recruiting firm across IT, Construction and Property, Life Sciences, and Finance and Accounting specialisms. With their continued leadership and with the continued support of Hays Group, we expect to continue our rapid growth and success.”
