The suits get on site for charity - F McCabe Final

Recruitment consultants at the leading specialist recruitment agency Hays Trades & Labour are getting their hands dirty as part of their annual Suits on Site event. Fiona McCabe, from Hays on Rose Terrace in Perth, worked on site for the day in aid of a fantastic charity. 

Fiona worked Stewart Milne Construction at The Kinross Medical Centre site. In return for her hard work Stewart Milne Construction made a generous donation to The Lighthouse Club, a charity which supports victims of workplace accidents and their families in the construction industry.  The men on site also gave generously on the day, matching Stewart Milne’s donation. Throughout the day, Fiona had to undertake a number of tasks, including working with the setting out engineer and labouring.

Fiona says: “It was hard work, but is a great task to support a worthwhile charity, plus it gave me first hand experience of what is required when we place people in jobs out on site. Across the UK, we are hoping that this event will raise over £5,000 for the Lighthouse Club. Thank you to Stewart Milne Construction for its generous donation which will help us to reach this target and also to Jock Adie, Douglas Harding and Alistair Lowe for all their help on the day.”
