Local Recruiter is Recruitment Consultancy of the Year

Hays Accountancy & Finance, which has a local team, has been named as Recruitment Consultancy of the Year at the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) Financial Management Awards 2008.

The awards ceremony, held in London, paid tribute to star performers in the profession who have achieved outstanding global success during 2008. This includes CIMA members, students and suppliers who have been inspirational in developing the profession and made a considerable difference to the world of management accountancy.

Teresa Thorrington-Allen, national director of the senior finance division at Hays, says: “We are delighted to have won this award for the third year running. It recognises the important role that recruitment consultancies play in increasing understanding about the relevance of the CIMA qualification to business and shows our commitment to the employability of CIMA students and members.
