Bristol Charity Football Event

Local recruitment consultancy, Hays Construction, hosted a five-a-side charity football tournament for 28 companies in the construction industry at the Goals Soccer Centre in Bristol on Sunday. The event was a great success and, combined with an auction this week, aims to raise over £1,500 for the charity, Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The day saw some excellent football and it was an exciting tournament throughout, with Carillion (Civil Engineering) eventually walking away as victors after a nail biting final. A representative from Marie Curie presented the winners medals and will accept the cheque on behalf of the charity after the auction has taken place.
