LOCAL RACE SUPPORTED BY LOCAL RECRUITERS
Elegance was in abundance as everybody dressed to the nines for a top night at Lansdown Racecourse in Bath on Wednesday 27th June. Staff from Hays Construction, the UK’s leading recruitment consultancy with an office in Bristol, sponsored the race night.
Organised by the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) which is the leading professional body for managers in construction, the race night coincided with Ladies Day and gave women the opportunity to wear stunning dresses and extravagant hats. It was enjoyed by guests who fluttered on races and made the most of the pig roast in their marquee. The rain held off as everybody spurred on their favourite riders in a bid to come in first.
Jonathan Davies, recruitment consultant at Hays Construction, says: “The race night was a fantastic evening and we were pleased to be a sponsor of this well-attended local event – we even sponsored our own race which was exciting. It wasn’t all fun and games - it also raised over £100 for the CIOB Benevolent Fund.”
