The suits get on site for charity - Smith Final
Recruitment consultants at the leading specialist recruitment agency Hays Trades & Labour will be getting their hands dirty as part of their annual Suits on Site event. Rebecca Smith, from Hays on Mosley Street in Newcastle, worked on site for the day in aid of a fantastic charity.
Rebecca worked for Caddick Construction on the Newburn Riverside site. In return for her hard work Caddick Construction will make a generous donation to The Lighthouse Club, a charity which supports victims of workplace accidents and their families in the construction industry. Throughout the day she will have to undertake a number of general labouring duties such as tidying the site and moving materials around.
Rebecca says: “I’m sure it will be hard work, but is a great task to support a worthwhile charity, plus it will give me first hand experience of what is required when we place people in jobs out on site. Across the UK, we are hoping that this event will raise over £5,000 for the Lighthouse Club. Thanks to Caddick Construction for its generous donation which will help us to reach this target.”
