The suits get on site for charity - S Waters Final
Recruitment consultants at the leading specialist recruitment agency Hays are getting their hands dirty as part of their annual Suits on Site charity event. Simone Waters, from the Hays Health & Safety’s Chester office on Grosvenor Street, worked on site for the day for a local company, Daniel Contractors.
In return for her hard work, Daniel Contractors made a generous donation towards The Lighthouse Club charity. The charity supports victims of workplace accidents and their families in the construction industry. Throughout the day she undertook various tasks, including painting and washing the lorries.
Simone Waters at Hays, says: “It was hard work, but it was a great task to support a worthwhile charity, plus it will give me first hand experience of what is required when we place people out on site. Across the UK, we are hoping that this event will raise over £5,000 for the Lighthouse Club. Thanks to Daniel Contractors for helping us towards this target.”
Andrew Ball, Managing Director at Daniel, says: “As part of our focus on corporate social responsibility, we were really keen to get on board with the Hays Suits on Site charity event. We had a great day teaching Simone some of the ropes and were delighted to support such a worthwhile cause”
