The suits get on site for charity - R Chowdhury Final

Recruitment consultants at the leading specialist recruitment agency Hays Trades & Labour are getting their hands dirty as part of their annual Suits on Site charity event. Repon Chowdhury, from the Hays Ilford office on Ilford Hill, worked on site for the day for a local company, Dean & Dyball. 

Repon worked on a site at the University of East London and in return for his hard work, Dean & Dyball donated a generous £232.75 towards The Lighthouse Club charity. The charity supports victims of workplace accidents and their families in the construction industry. Repon carried out labouring work, including fixing door locks, painting & laying slabs.

Repon says: “It was hard work, but it was a great task to support such a worthwhile charity, plus it gave me first hand experience of what is required when we place people out on site. Across the UK, we are hoping that this event will raise over £5,000 for the Lighthouse Club. Thanks to Dean & Dyball for helping us towards this target.”
