The suits get on site for charity - R Butcher Final

Recruitment consultants at the leading specialist recruitment agency Hays Trades & Labour are getting their hands dirty as part of their annual Suits on Site event. Ryan Butcher, from Hays on Richmond Hill in Bournemouth, worked on site for the day in aid of a fantastic charity. 

Ryan worked for Leadbitter on a Signpost Homes construction site, which is developing accommodation for Bournemouth University. In return for his hard work Leadbitter made a generous donation to The Lighthouse Club, a charity that supports victims of workplace accidents and their families in the construction industry. Throughout the day, he had to undertake a number of labour intensive tasks, including helping to install washroom units, which had been delivered from a specialist European supplier that morning.

Ryan says: “It was hard work, but is a great task to support a worthwhile charity, plus it gave me first hand experience of what is required when we place people in jobs out on site. Across the UK, we are hoping that this event will raise over £5,000 for the Lighthouse Club. Thanks to Leadbitter for its generous donation which will help us to reach this target.”
