Hays Education in Cheltenham support leadership skills of young children
Hays Education has made a £100 donation to Christ College in Cheltenham as part of a campaign to promote partnerships between sports colleges in England and across the world. The government’s International Inspirations programme is part of the preparation for the Olympic Games 2012, supporting the development of sport and leadership skills globally amongst young people.
Christ College is taking a group of students to a school in India where they will spend a week working with the Indian students teaching them 2 of our sports and organising and running a sport festival for some local village primary schools. The donation from Hays will provide accommodation and four meals for two students from Cheltenham whilst visiting the exchange school in India.
Caroline Ellis, Regional Manager at Hays Education in Cheltenham said: “We are pleased to be donating to such a worthwhile cause. We supply staff to a number of schools in the area and are always keen to support them. The International Inspirations program is a step in the right direction to help schools which are less fortunate.”
