Essex Firms Go Bowling
Members of the South Essex Institute of Chartered Accountants gathered at Chelmsford’s Tenpin Bowling Alley on the 8th of April for the annual inter-firm bowling competition.
The competition, organised by Linda Howard, Regional Executive at the South Essex Society of Chartered Accountants, saw local businesses come together to battle it out in two rounds of competitive bowling.
The local Hays Senior Finance team sponsored the prizes, with Macintyre Hudson taking home the trophy for the second year running. Paul Barnes at Macintyre Hudson was awarded ‘Player of the Evening’ for his successive high scores. Other local businesses represented were: Anser Consultancy Ltd, Wilkins Kennedy, Tayor Viney & Marlow, and Kingston Smith.
Karen Young, Regional Director at Hays Senior Finance commented on the competition: ‘this yearly event is a great opportunity for local businesses to indulge in some friendly and healthy competition. It is great to be out with local businesses supporting a bit of extra curricular fun!’
