Andrew graduated in Law and Commerce from Victoria University, New Zealand in 1999 and qualified as a solicitor in 2000. Andrew practised in the corporate, litigation and employment departments of leading New Zealand law firm Russell McVeagh before moving into international legal recruitment in Sydney, Australia in 2001. In 2003 Andrew relocated to London to undertake UK private practice recruitment before joining the international division of Hays Legal in 2005, becoming a Business Manager in December 2006.

Jonathan read Economics at the University of Greenwich. He worked as a researcher at Fox Rodney Search and Hogarth Davies Lloyd respectively before joining Hays Legal in May 2005. He specialises in recruiting UK and foreign qualified lawyers on overseas and London positions with a particular focus on the Belgian, Russian, Canadian, South African, Dutch, Asia Pacific, Australasian, Indian and Middle East markets.

Jenny graduated from Southampton University in 2001 and qualified as a solicitor with Beachcroft LLP in 2005. Jenny qualified into the commercial property department and joined the property department at Burges Salmon LLP in 2006. Jenny now works for Hays UK but is permanently based in Australia and her dedicated remit is to source candidates for overseas roles with a particular focus on the UK market.

Catherine graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2002 with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours after completing five years’ articles in Queensland and was admitted as a Solicitor in July 2002. Catherine worked as a litigator within private practice and the public sector in Brisbane before joining Hays Legal in June 2004 where she gained experience recruiting lawyers in all sectors including the public sector, in-house and private practice . In 2008 Catherine joined Hays Globalink in London and specialises in recruiting qualified solicitors who are based in the UK for the Australian and New Zealand legal markets.

Bina Brünjes studied law in Frankfurt/Main. In 1999 she completed an LL.M. programme at the Northwestern University in Chicago. Upon qualifying, she specialised in IP/ competition law before joining Hays Legal at the beginning of 2004. Bina established the In-house practice for Hays Legal in Germany and now manages the national In-house team. She advises companies and banks on the strategic recruitment of lawyers throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Clara Tegtmeyer studied law in Passau/ Germany, Italy and Munich. She spent her practical legal training in the human resources department of the Deutsche Lufthansa AG in Frankfurt am Main. She later spent four years working for an international management consultancy in Berlin. She joined Hays Legal in 2006 and advises companies, banks and financial service providers on the recruitment of lawyers throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Lisa Rosenthal studied law at universities in Bielefeld and Cologne. During her studies she spent several months in Indonesia and worked as a journalist in Malaysia. Before starting her practical legal training in Düsseldorf, Ms Rosenthal worked at Management Circle AG. She carried out her practical training abroad in a lawyer's office in Singapore. She joined Hays Legal in 2007 where she assists corporates and financial services companies in the recruitment of lawyers throughout Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Katie graduated from New Zealand’s University of Otago with Law and Arts degrees and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. Katie joined Hays Legal, New Zealand, as a consultant in 2006, gaining significant law firm experience in both the domestic and international markets. Key highlights include heading up the New Zealand leg of international campaigns for Hays Legal with key clients such as Ogier 2006 and Herbert Smith 2006/2007.
In 2007, Katie joined Hays Hong Kong where she developed a highly successful commercial accounting desk for the Accountancy and Finance brand. Katie has recently rejoined Hays Legal in Hong Kong and is looking forward to working on the law firm side once again.

Sherina qualified as a lawyer in the UK after reading law at The University of Glamorgan and then completing the bar examinations at The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. She has practice experience in both Malaysia and Western Australia where she gained experience in industrial relations and employment law after completing her LLM degree at the University of Western Australia.
Sherina moved into legal recruitment in 2005 where she headed the legal arm of an Australian recruitment company. In 2006, Sherina relocated to Singapore as a consultant with the legal department of a regional executive search company before joining Hays Legal in 2008. Her recruitment experience includes recruiting lawyers at all levels for both international law firms and global corporates throughout the Asia Pacific region.

Amanda Wallis studied German and Philosophy at Nottingham University. During her university studies she spent one year in Vienna. She later studied law at the College of Law in London. For 3 years she worked at the London office of Linklaters and qualified into the area of structured finance before moving into legal recruitment. After working at Taylor Root for eighteen months in London Amanda moved to Hays Legal in Germany where she advises national and international law firms on the recruitment German and non- German qualified associates.
