Every activity in school is designed to meet our core aim: to equip our students with the knowledge and skills they need in order to succeed and allow them to take up their rightful place in society - now and in the future. This is not only so they get a fulfilling job but also to improve other areas of their life such as health and wellbeing and forming positive relationships. This is reflected in the new motto for the school, designed by our students last Summer term: "Do your best today for a better tomorrow".

At The Grays School Media Arts College we provide a caring and stimulating environment where students are happy and feel valued. We wish our students to develop confidence as well as being capable, self-directed learners and so plan for them to get involved with the school life, such as acting as a mentor to the younger students in their tutor group or by taking up a role in one of the school councils.
