A message from the Principal

Thank you for requesting an application pack for what is a key post at Stockley Academy.

I arrived as the Principal of Stockley Academy in May 2007 and initiated a full restructure of the teaching staff. That restructure has led to the creation of a number of key posts.

The Academy needs teachers who are driven, ambitious and capable.

Stockley Academy is rapidly improving. Last year 60% of students at Key Stage 3 achieved level 5 or above and 44% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades. The academy has been recognised as on of the most improved schools in the country over the last 3 years by the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.

However, there are further improvements to be made and there is still much to be done. We have a wonderful building, hard working staff and students who are eager to learn and improve.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a further leap forward for the Academy.
