Welcome
Welcome to St. Alban's Catholic High School.
We are the only Christian secondary school in Ipswich outside the independent sector and provide an excellent comprehensive education. We are a popular and thriving school and achieve outstanding results in all aspects of school life.
Pupils at St Alban’s are expected to contribute to the school community. This is to ensure that learning opportunities for all pupils are enhanced and will enable staff to maximise the capabilities of all. Each member of the school is valued for the talents they can bring and for the contribution they can make to the Catholic life of the school.
With over 800 students, the school is large enough to offer an impressively wide curriculum but still sufficiently small enough for staff to take a personal interest in each individual.
In 1994 St. Alban's Catholic High School was awarded Technology College status which was upheld in 1997. The school therefore benefits from specialist facilities. St. Alban's also became a Beacon school in 1998.
St Alban’s Mission Statement -
‘ St Alban’s Catholic High School seeks to be a living Christian Community in which effective learning takes place. By recognising Jesus Christ in each one of us we aim to develop fully the unique talents of each pupil.’
