Projects > Mechanical & Electrical Projects > EMI Headquarters, London
The newly acquired Cameron Taylor carried out environmental engineering services for the refurbishment of an 80,000 sq ft office building for EMI Records.
The building facade was extended to create a triple height entrance hall, and an internal courtyard was glazed over to create a new atrium with glass wall climber lifts. Particular care was taken to upgrade the building fabric to meet the new, Part L of the building regulations, which require stringent environmental standards.
Both full fresh-air and four-pipe fan coil systems were used within the building, where facilities include EMI’s European IT communications centre and hub with emergency power UPS and back-up, offices, and acoustically treated listening suites as well as full catering and kitchen facilities for all staff and visitors, including executive dining areas, gym and leisure facilities for staff.
If you have any questions regarding the site itself or to find out more about Scott Wilson in general please call the Recruitment Team on 0207 259 8780.
