Visitors tell us we are a very friendly school, but listed below are some of the features we feel make it especially attractive and worthwhile for teachers to work at Ryvers.

We are a very popular school in the community, with a welcoming atmosphere, good parent relationships and very good teaching assistant support. We try hard to provide a happy and stimulating environment for all our staff and pupils.
We are proud of pupils’ good manners and behaviour and proud of our staff. Ofsted have commented, ‘Ryvers is a good school. Pupils behave well and have good attitudes to their work. Relationships are very good. There is good and very good teaching and strong leadership.’
There is very good support for all new colleagues with planning and general induction.
Our NQT induction programme is extremely comprehensive - NQTs are offered full release time and mentor support from senior staff members.
We are firmly committed to providing PPA time to all our teachers.
CPD is available to all staff for professional development.
All teachers are issued with their own personal laptop.
We are a fully extended school providing a breakfast and after-school club for all our children as well as having an on site pre-school for children aged 2-4 years old.
We are a well resourced school, with all classrooms fully equipped with interactive whiteboards as well as a new ICT suite.

We are looking for teachers who have a passion for teaching and who are committed to making a difference to the lives of young children. I believe we have created a good school with a clear vision and good support for staff, a place where creative teaching can take place and where teachers can reach their full potential.
