ABOUT RUMMEY DESIGN
We set out to provide a broad view of design, employing urban designers, masterplanners, landscape architects, architects, and specialists in environmental services, consultation and communications, selecting the appropriate mix of skills for each project, large or small.
Our experience in masterplanning and regeneration and our strong understanding of development opportunities and constraints has built us an award-winning reputation for strategic development and consultancy. Our broad skill base and extensive project experience provide us with a sensitivity to the regeneration needs of large areas, combining an over-arching vision with the realities of economic, demographic and infrastructure constraints, embracing funding needs, programming and deliverability issues. We work regularly as part of a project team, delivering against a more specific design brief.
The practice maximises use of technology to enhance creativity and more meaningful communications. Our in-house team is able to produce sophisticated rendering and visualisation including solar analyses, lighting studies, and fly-through animations. We regularly produce short films to promote or communicate design proposals effectively particularly as part of a consultation process.
We are located in Sevenoaks, Kent with the opening of a London office planned within the next six months.
