Location

Park Hall School is situated in Water Orton, a North Warwickshire village at the heart of the UK. Bordered by Leicestershire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands, the school is ideally placed to receive visitors from all parts of the Midlands. The village is close to the M6, M6 Toll & M42 motorways and can also be accessed by frequent bus services to Birmingham and Coleshill. For those wishing to avoid road traffic, Water Orton can easily be accessed by rail with regular services bringing passengers from Birmingham, Tamworth, and Derby.

Neighbouring City Birmingham is the second largest city in Britain and its people regard their second city status with great pride. The region is steeped in history and innovation and was at the forefront of the British Industrial Revolution. Birmingham’s extensive canal network - the largest in Europe – is a legacy of this industrial age, but today it is home to numerous waterside bars, cafes, shops and apartments throughout the city. Birmingham has also recently been called the ‘shopping capital of Europe’ due to the recent completion of the Bullring shopping centre – a huge & architecturally innovative development that attracts shoppers from all over the country. Nearby Solihull is also home to the Touchwood Shopping Complex -a sophisticated retail oasis in the centre of Solihull town.

The region has plenty to offer sport lovers with an array of premiership and championship football teams in most major towns and Cities within the Midlands. Rugby and Cricket are also extremely popular spectator sports within the area in addition to a range of successful Athletics clubs and facilities. Birmingham recently hosted the European Athletics Indoor Championships at the National Indoor Arena and the region also has strong historical links with a range of motorsports.

80 minutes away from London by train, and 90 minutes away from Manchester or Leeds, there can be no better location for experiencing the best that the Midlands has to offer as well as offering an excellent doorway to the rest of the UK and Europe.
