Thank you for showing an interest in our school. Oldmixon School is a wonderful place to work and learn. We understand that a lot of our children need extra support in many ways to enable them to enjoy life and achieve. We want children to overcome their barriers to learning and to develop into confident, happy and sociable adults. We need staff who can help children to aspire to our ideals and who will give their all help children wherever they are in their life journey.

Our school is an improving school. The environment and resources available are wonderful. Children are supported by expert small group and individual attention. Behaviour and relationships are excellent. Children are confident in speaking and expressing their views. We want to be ‘Loud and Proud’ and spread the good news about our school.

We are confident that we have put the measures in place and provided the appropriate conditions for learning to enable the children at our school to achieve and attain higher standards in Literacy and Numeracy.
