The following roles are guaranteed for a minimum of 35 hours per week. The applicant must also be committed to a rotating shift basis, including nights. All assignments have a term of 9 months.
Band 5 General Medical and Surgery Nurses
SUHT are currently seeking motivated, enthusiastic individuals, who are also keen team players, to take advantage of opportunities across both Surgical and particularly Medical wards.
Applicants will need to have proven Acute Care Skills or Acute Surgical Experience. To be considered for these roles you will need to be forward thinking, as well as eager to develop your own clinical and management skills. You will also enjoy the challenge of working in a busy environment.
SUHT are looking for individuals to work within the Unscheduled Care Division which comprises:
- Specialist Medicine
- Medicine for Older People
- Cancer Care
- Emergency Department (A+E)
- Emergency Medical Unit
We are currently expanding Elderly Care and opening a new 20 bedded Elderly Care Ward and are particularly interested in seeking Nurses with experience of nursing elderly care patients.
We are additionally expanding our Emergency Department and are seeking Nurses with specific A+E experience.
Applicants will be looking for a stimulating & challenging environment, with a supportive atmosphere. You will also be motivated to deliver high standards of nursing care and will be keen to develop yourself both personally and professionally.
