Following the restructure and relocation of the Head Office function to Darlington, NAAFI are now seeking to recruit a number of newly created roles to support the centralised finance function.
NAAFI is a £150m turnover business in 5 currencies, including the Euro. The business operates more than 400 leisure (pubs and clubs) and retail services (stores) for the British Armed Forces and their families stationed in 13 countries including Afghanistan, Ascension, Belize, Brunei, Falklands, GB, Germany, Gibraltar, Iraq, Kosovo and Northern Ireland. It runs the Naval Canteen Service (NCS) providing leisure facilities and shops on board 32 RN ships. It also operates the Expeditionary Force Institutes (EFI) delivering retail and leisure facilities where military personnel are on the front line.
NAAFI serves over 200,000 Military personnel and their families and employs over 3,000 people many of whom are the spouses of members of the Armed Forces and has a responsibility for a pension scheme for some 7,000 employees past and present.
