
The Major Projects team sits nationally across all Mouchel offices and leads the tender, set up and management of large scale highways and civil engineering projects. The A5 upgrade is one of a number of works under management by the Major Projects team in Ireland. The project director has led this from the beginning, managing the relationship with Roads Service. Now that the project is established, Mouchel wish to recruit a project manager to take over the day to day running of the project, reporting into the project director. The project manager will have full project management and operational responsibility, managing a team of up to 70 people, plus sub-consultants across a number of disciplines. This is a very high profile role within Mouchel and the timely completion of the project is crucial to the company’s growth in the region.

Mouchel is committed to expanding its operations in Ireland and is seeking divisional directors for both Dublin (Dun Laoghaire) and Belfast (Holywood). These people will manage individual divisions and will input to and drive forward strategy for the development of the civil engineering division in Ireland, with full profit and loss responsibility. They will be a senior member within each office with managerial responsibility for the major projects team therein. The divisional directors will manage a portfolio of projects regionally, aswell as supporting the major projects team. They will also work closely with the senior major projects directors to seek and explore opportunities to build the business across Ireland, both through business development and through leveraging internal networks and encouraging synergies across the Mouchel business.
