Setting Out Engineer
"I
joined MLM Ipswich just over a year ago following 5 years on sites
as a Setting out Engineer for a Contractor. My main concern was how
I would fit in to an office environment; those concerns were soon
squashed as the firm was very welcoming. Our team works well together
on a variety of schemes which are both challenging and rewarding.

Chartered Engineer
"I
have worked for MLM for 5 years. During that time I have been involved
in the design and running of a wide variety of projects; from multi-storey
steel framed school projects to redevelopment of historic listed landmark
buildings. I am currently working towards Chartered Engineer status
of the IStructE. The job satisfaction is excellent, with a fantastic
office environment and team spirit and I feel very lucky to be part
of a successful dynamic company."
Graduate Engineer
"I'm
based in MLM's Cambridge Office, and have been here for just over
two years now as a Graduate Engineer. In that time, I've worked on
a wide range of projects from individual houses and sheltered housing
schemes, through to new build MOD buildings and the conversion of
a Grade 2 Listed building into a Boutique Hotel. The culture in MLM
is hugely supportive for graduates, and has allowed me to develop
both my engineering and project management skills - very useful in
a company where no two days are ever the same!"
