Thank you for taking the time to consider working with the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA).
I am immensely proud to have been appointed as the Chief Executive of this very important organisation. The ISA will be at the heart of safeguarding the most vulnerable in society and will contribute immeasurably to the public good. Together with our chairman, Sir Roger Singleton, I am determined that the ISA will give vulnerable people and their relatives extra assurance that they will be protected from those who seek to exploit them by dishonesty, abuse or humiliation.
We are now building a first class organisation that I believe will deliver outstanding performance, the highest quality of service and be a place where people both have the opportunity for professional development and enjoy coming to work. The challenges we face are significant and demanding as we begin to develop a new culture, systems and processes and in recruiting new people from a variety of backgrounds. I hope you share my view that building the ISA is a once in a lifetime opportunity that presents unique challenges and opportunities.
For my part I believe that the ISA will give vulnerable people and their relatives extra assurance that they will be protected from those who seek to exploit them by dishonesty, abuse or humiliation. By our joint hard work we will be helping to stamp out these abuses.
