About Our School

There are many exciting plans for this school’s future; in the short term is our application to become a Specialist School in Engineering and in the medium term is our approved BSF plans to expand to become a 600 boy’s 11-16 school.  This will mean  a new build and remodelling on an extended version of the school’s current site.  The new and remodelled buildings will open in September 2013.

Ofsted last visited us in September 2005 and whilst we were disappointed to be judged as “satisfactory” overall their report included numerous very positive and encouraging comments.

You can use the following links to see the whole report and recent performance tables.

  • Attendance and the contribution pupils make to the community are outstanding
  • At the end of Key Stage 4 the percentage attaining five or more A*- C grades at GCSE is well above the national average and year on year results have improved more quickly than is the case nationally
  • There are a number of good features about the school’s management, particularly the caring ethos it has created and the guidance it provides
  • Pupils are happy and confident and parents are very satisfied with the quality of education and care provided
  • The pupils make good progress in their personal development.

We continue to aspire to be an outstanding school.  To get a real flavour of our school visit our website. www.hulltrinity.net  Make sure you see the BSF slide show.
