Scottish Exhibition Centre and Conference Facility (SECC)
The expanded SECC is the first of its kind at this scale in the UK and only one of four in Europe capable of seating more than 3000 delegates. The conference centre (the "Armadillo") offers the ability to drive trucks directly on to the stage of a 3000 seat conference hall which is complete with fly tower, wings and full back stage facilities. It offers a highly serviced environment which can be transformed by the organisers to accommodate a wide variety of events. Externally the eight overlapping aluminium clad shells create a distinctive and unique landmark on the skyline.
