I am delighted that you are interested in working at Futures Community College.  We are at a unique point in our journey of improvement and development and I hope that you will want to join us on that journey.  A new £19 million building is nearing completion thanks to our partnership with Prospects Learning Foundation.  This allows us to make available a breadth of curriculum that one senior Ofsted inspector recently described as probably having no equal in any school in England!

We are intent on nothing less than transforming the life chance of young people, families and communities by transforming their experience of education and developing a wholly new approach to what we understand by the term “school”.  We believe that every young person can achieve and success is an entitlement.  Traditionally held barriers such as poverty and social background are not reasons for failure, they are challenges we will overcome on the way to success.  We are transforming our curriculum and our approach to teaching and learning.  We are establishing a college community which is emotionally healthy and resilient in which high levels of social and personal skills create a positive, nurturing and creative climate in which all can develop and grow.
