Agnes Kopras,
Customer Contact Executive
I recently graduated in Political Science at the University of Wroclaw, Poland, having also gained a SOCRATES/ERASMUS scholarship at the University of Sussex focusing on Contemporary European Studies. I have an interest in the relationship between culture, business and politics as well as a passion for learning new languages.
My first contact with CHEP was visiting the Graduate Website. What struck me was the size of the business. It is a growing international company with a clear focus on its employees and the environment, which were two key drivers for me when searching for a Graduate Programme.
The recruitment process from start to finish has been very professional. The website is full of useful information and the communication as I progressed through the various steps has been very clear. I never had to wait too long for information about the progress of my application and was given every opportunity to prepare before each stage.
Having now been appointed as a Customer Contact Executive in Manchester I am very much looking forward to seeing where it takes me. The one thing that is clear about my induction and introduction to the business is training, training and more training. CHEP has high standards for employees but allows enough time to gain knowledge and build experience and I have friendly colleagues who are always happy to help.
My hopes for the future are to progress and demonstrate my ability in my current placement along with building knowledge about CHEP and the industry which I am confident will serve me well into my next placement and future career with CHEP.
