Experience

  • At least five year’s experience of leading and managing people, operations and projects demonstrating the capability to successfully lead and ‘to get things done.’
  • Proven track record in business management in either the commercial, public or not-for-profit sectors.
  • Experience of managing income generation (fundraising or commercial activities).
  • Proven record of developing successful partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders and supporters from a variety of sectors and backgrounds.
  • Reputation for managing resources effectively and efficiently and delivering corporate objectives, policies and strategies.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • The ability to provide visible leadership, inspiring and motivating Governors, staff, partners and supporters.
  • A strong achievement orientation, developing and achieving organisational goals, balanced with an appreciation of the ‘right’ way to do things.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to represent the Agency in an articulate, professional and dynamic manner.
  • The ability to provide effective internal and external communication processes with Governors, staff and partners.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and diplomatic skills to support the building of effective and long lasting relationships.
  • Empathy with the purpose of the Agency and with the people associated with it.
  • A commitment to personally play an ongoing active role within the Catholic community.
