Conran & Partners were undergoing some expansion plans and needed to quickly fill numerous vacancies with high calibre, qualified candidates. Their main difficulty was trying to fill a number of vacancies within a short space of time and doing so during July, a notoriously quiet period in the recruitment market. The job titles were varied, ranging from Assistant Architect through to Senior Project Architect, which required a lot of consideration in terms of choosing suitable job boards.
The client was recommended and agreed on: a multipost, campaign site and a press advertisement in Building Design. Job boards used included Monster, The Architecture Room and Total Jobs, which proved successful in terms of number of applicants. The campaign site included five pages, offering a place for the candidate to learn about the culture of Conran & Partners, the benefits and vacancies, with images of their previous work.
A good response was the end result- 48 people applied for the posts, with 8 vacancies being filled. Conran & Partners are now classed as a key client and future business is a definite possibility if candidate attraction solutions are necessary. This contract has also lead to a project with RTKL who are considering an upgrade from their current website to a Hays CAS campaign site in order to attract candidates to fill their growing number of vacancies. Overall, Conran & Partners were very satisfied with the number of vacancies filled and the candidates that were placed. The consultant was very positive about this project before it went ahead, and anticipated that it would be a success for the client.
