We want all of our learners in the Barnfield group to be happy and successful and reach their full potential.
The College's success is without equal - 90% achievement rate (2007), "outstanding" Ofsted rating and Britain's first Beacon College.

Under the Barnfield banner, the Academy is adopting the same positive approach and as a result achievement rates are rising rapidly, behaviour is impressive and the culture is now positive "can do". We will ensure that your child receives the best possible education in the Academy and the College where a post 16 place awaits them. Like the Principal and staff at the Academy, I am very excited, committed and determined to create a learning experience for your child that gives them the confidence and tools to reach their goals.

From the Principal

Come and see our exciting new Academy. We want to show you our achievements. Academic standards are rising, students enjoy school and wear their smart new uniforms with pride and we have spent big on brand-new technology. We have changed the school day, introduced innovative learning techniques and established traditional values of respect and self-discipline.

Our large teaching staff has developed a personalised learning program and student support network. Together, parents, students and staff are building one of Luton's best centres of educational excellence.

By 2011 we will be housed in a £30 million new build. The very best facilities for our students. We are doing everything to support students on their path to success.
