How to Apply

Use the link to our search page from the left hand navigation to find your next position. Using the search tools, select an assignment that is of interest to you and click on Apply. Complete the on-line application form and attach your CV – you can send a cover letter if you want to. You will need to follow this process for each vacancy you are interested in.

If I can’t find a suitable role can I make a speculative application?

Yes. If you cannot find the job you are looking for right now, but would still like to work at Barclays on a temporary or contract basis, simply your CV to the relevant contact. The Barclays Temporary Recruitment team for Professional, Finance & Interim will assess your CV against current vacancies and add your details to our candidate database.

Do I need to be eligible to work in the UK to apply for Temporary/Contract vacancies?

Yes. You must be eligible to commence temporary or contract work in the UK at the point of application. Unfortunately, we cannot assist with the arrangement of work permits.

How will I know if my resume/CV has been received?

Once you have completed your application and pressed Submit, an Application Confirmation page will appear to confirm your application has gone through successfully.

I have submitted my CV online, what happens next?

The dedicated team will assess your CV and contact you if they wish to take your application further. We may also contact you in the future if we receive other vacancies, which we feel would suit your skills and experience. Please feel free to contact us should you wish to discuss your application in more detail.

How will I know if a position online has been filled?

Every effort will be made to remove job postings as soon as a position is filled.

Will I be considered for other roles at Barclays if my application for a specific vacancy is unsuccessful?

Yes. The dedicated team will assess your skills and experience for other roles available at Barclays. We will also add your details to our searchable candidate database.

Can I return to this site to review and apply for other suitable positions?
