Link Personnel have been approved by both the BAA and the DTI to carry out the necessary Reference and Criminal Record Checking Procedures to ensure that applicants can be based airside without delay. Hays Retail collects and collates the referencing information from the candidate at the start of the process to ensure that the referencing procedure can start straight away. The client is kept up to date throughout the process from offer to start date and the turnaround time ranges from 14 to 28 days depending on complexity.

Link Personnel's screening services are carried out to the quality standard BS7858 specified by the British Standards Institute and are audited twice yearly by the Inspectorate of the Security Institute (ISI) resulting in successful accreditation under the ISI Inspected Companies Scheme (Certificate No 99253).
In addition, Link Personnel is also an Umbrella Registered Body of the Criminal Records Bureau, enabling it to apply for Disclosures on a client's behalf. All Link Personnel's systems comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and all records are audited by independent BS7858 inspectors.
