Thomas Cook are back in the Airports! We currently operate 8 bureaux de change at Manchester Airport offering our extensive range of financial services products direct to our customers. With the opening of Terminal 5 at London Heathrow in March 2008, we now have a range of exciting opportunities available, with over 90 positions in our 9 new bureaux. Terminal 5 will be London’s newest landmark, 68,000sq metres welcoming 30 million passengers a year, creating 16,500 jobs. Airport Positions Operation Manager As an Operations Manager you will manage a team of Customer Service Managers to achieve all revenue and profit margins Along with excellent leadership and coaching skills, you will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and be able to demonstrate a successful track record in driving high performance and profit culture, achieving revenue and targets. In addition you will work closely with the Airport authorities and management teams ensuring the bureau operate in compliance with all company, legal and airport requirements. So, if you have some previous retail management experience and a good working knowledge of foreign exchange we would love to hear from you! Customer Service Manager Our Customer Service Managers have responsibility for the day-to-day operation of several bureaux and a team of Sales Consultants. You will ensure that all transaction are processed accurately and efficiently and that all financial and company objectives and targets are achieved. Through effective leadership you will develop a high performing team through regular coaching and 1: 1’s. You will also be required to undertake regular reviews and monitoring of audit compliance reports, ensuring the required levels of retail standards are met and improvements are implemented where appropriate. If you are commercially aware, have previous experience in a management role, a good knowledge of foreign exchange and enjoy working in a dynamic results driven environment then we’d like to hear from you! Team Leader As a Team Leader you’ll ensure all transaction are processed accurately and efficiently, maximise all sales opportunities ensuring that your individual and teams sales target are met and exceeded. You will provide coaching and mentoring, encouraging supporting individuals to achieve their maximum potential while driving the team to achieve business targets and objectives. You will consistently deliver and monitor the customer experience to ensure it exceeds expectations and create a point of difference in the airport. If you have some previous management experience in a foreign exchange environment, can motivate a sales team working on a shift pattern between 0430hrs – 2300hrs and have a proven track record of achieving revenue targets and objectives, we would love to hear form you! Operations and Compliance Manager As the Operations and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for the co ordination of all administration, stock, health and safety and audit functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our airport bureau. You will ensure currency and ancillary products are ordered, tills are reconciled, reviewed and stocked daily and large transactions checked and verified. In addition you will be responsible for our bureaux compliance with company and airport authorities procedures. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager you will be able to work on your own initiative in a pressurised environment whilst making a team contribution. Excellent organisational skill and attention to detail are essential along with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. So if this sounds like you we would love to hear from you! Sales Consultant Foreign Exchange With excellent sales skills, a good eye for detail and the ability to quickly build relationships with customers from all over the world, you’ll maximise every sales opportunity whilst constantly delivering exceptional levels of customer service. As a sales consultant you’ll be a strong team player who is highly motivated, results orientated and be comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment where no two days are ever the same. While you do need previous experience in a sales role, foreign exchange experience, while helpful, is not essential as we offer a comprehensive training programme. As a Foreign Exchange Sales Consultant, your average salary will range from £12,000 to £14,750 depending on level of experience and skills plus a competitive shift allowance (MAN £3000 - LON £3500). As a Team Leader your focus will be to maintain the accuracy and efficiency of the bureaux and to maximise sales at every opportunity, your basis salary will range from £12,000 to £16,750 depending on level of experience and skills plus a competitive shift allowance (MAN £3000 - LON £3500). As a Customer Service Manager you focus will be the day to day operation of several bureaux within the airport, your average salary will range from £13,000 to £18,750 depending on level of experience and skills plus a competitive shift allowance (MAN £3000 - LON £3500). As an Operations Manager your priority is to ensure that your team of CSM’s achieve all revenue and profit margins, your average salary will range from £20,000 to £25,000 depending on level of experience and skills plus a competitive shift allowance (MAN £3000 - LON £3500) and a car allowance. As the Operations and Compliance Manager you will be responsible for the co ordination of all administration, stock, health and safety and audit functions to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our airport bureau, your average salary will range from £13,000 to £18,000 depending on level of experience and skills plus a competitive shift allowance (MAN £3000 - LON £3500).
