Hays IT - Times Are Changing

A new survey conducted by Hays Information Technology has identified that IT jobseekers use the Internet as their preferred location when searching for a new role. This change in job searching has had an impact on the effectiveness of print advertising.

In response to this change in the jobseeker market, Hays has introduced a comprehensive online advertising service called Campaign Sites. The logos above are a selection of clients that currently use this service, so feel free to click on any of the logos to visit their Campaign Site and see how they are increasing their recruitment effectiveness.

Campaign Sites combine new and traditional media to maximise exposure to your career opportunities, as well as delivering much more information than a press advertisement to your target audience.

Look at some of the benefits:

Your own web address
Campaign Sites provide you with your own URL (web address), which will send candidates directly to your Campaign Minisite – not via the hays.com home page. By having your own URL, you’re guaranteed exclusivity on all applicants.

Two Multipost Internet Adverts
As part of the package of the Campaign Site, you also get two Multipost Internet Adverts that are posted on Hays.com & 5 external job boards.

More advertising space
You’ll have more space to promote the benefits of working for your organisation – giving candidates maximum information and increasing their interest in working for you.

Increased exposure time
Your Campaign Site will remain on hays.com throughout the duration of the campaign, maximising response potential.

Competitive pricing
Campaign Sites cost a fraction of what you would expect to pay for a larger press advert, recruitment brochures or mailings, saving you money.

Offline coverage
You can advertise your Campaign Site in the local, national or trade press, driving more traffic online. Since Hays is the largest purchaser of recruitment advertising in the UK, you gain the advantage of our substantial volume discounts.

Consistent company branding
Should you require it, our design team will follow your brand guidelines to guarantee consistency with your corporate ‘look and feel’, including direct liaison with your marketing and compliance colleagues, or with external agencies.

Job alert messages
Your vacancies will be posted onto Job Alerts so candidates looking on our site are driven to your Campaign Site.

 EShots & Mailshots
Hays.com will produce an e-shot and postcard size mailshot for sending to candidates on our database who match your recruiting criteria.

Priority exposure on hays.com
You job(s) will also appear on the Premium Jobs and Top Companies pages, with links to drive candidates to your Campaign Site.

One-to-one service
Of course, a dedicated Hays consultant will continue to manage your vacancies, providing expert filtration and shortlisting in line with your key competencies and requirements, ensuring you get the most out of your Campaign Site.

Campaign Management
Hays Information Technology has specialised in assignment management for over thirty years and as a result has developed a highly effective Campaign Management Methodology.

The main problem in recruitment in the past has been Candidate Attrition during a campaign, which is often caused by the process not happening quickly enough for candidates. Since this methodology has been adopted we have achieved a 98% success on the campaigns where it has been applied. Experience leads us to believe that, in the highly competitive market, working to a project plan is the critical success factor to maintaining candidate interest in the opportunities.
