Event Synopsis
In the last decade the issue of workplace health has undergone a fundamental shift which no employer can afford to ignore. The agenda has shifted from managing risk towards seeing health and wellbeing policies as a way to cut costs, recruit and retain staff and boost productivity.
No HR function can afford to ignore the health of its employees, whether to avoid legal claims, protect the company’s employer brand or control spiralling absence costs.
This conference will bring together the stakeholders involved in tackling workplace health problems, debate the evidence for different approaches from an independent standpoint, and focus on the practical steps that employers must take now to achieve good practice in managing workplace health. .
