Sustainability is a key element of government policy, and investors, procurers and planning authorities expect industry to achieve ever higher standards of sustainability performance.

Cyril Sweett has a team of expert specialists working on sustainability in the built environment. Expertise includes environmental assessment, eco-efficiency (waste, water, energy and materials), materials sourcing and procurement, green design, corporate responsibility and planning and regeneration.

Drawing support from other in-house technical experts, we ensure that sustainability is successfully and cost-effectively integrated into any stage of the development lifecycle.

The team provides support and solutions for all stakeholders within the construction industry. Working closely with our cost consulting and project management colleagues, we make sustainability aspirations a reality by helping client and developer teams to prioritise opportunities and develop value for money and deliverable solutions.

The team is growing rapidly delivering work to support commercially viable sustainable developments and have a range of opportunities from Consultant level to Associate Directors.

Candidates will have some experience of sustainability issues:- be from an Engineering / Construction / Environmental background and / or APC qualified:- have good client facing skills, and the ability to think laterally and generate ideas. Key factors are enthusiasm for the subject, bringing tangible sustainability consultancy related skills / experience and a positive and proactive team working attitude.
