Regional focus: Berkshire Education Jobs
There are numerous projects underway as Berkshire council seeks to develop and create more opportunities in schools.
Big investment in schools
Chosen schools are to benefit from a multi-million pound investment of central government funding for redevelopment. This will involve the development of school buildings, and will provide modern, well-equipped and high-tech teaching facilities to benefit the schools.
There are further plans for a joint learning campus that will combine primary and secondary schools onto one site, together with a range of leisure and learning facilities for the whole community. Combined with the plans for the building and opening of new schools in the county, future opportunities in area are extremely promising.
