Suits on Site 2007- Q&A
Here is all you need to know about our Suits on Site 2007 event.
What is Suits on Site?
Your recruitment consultant will swap their suit for a hard hat, and work on site for the day for charity.
How can I get involved?
Sponsor your recruitment consultant to work on site for the day and in return donate the equivalent of their day’s wages to the construction industry charity, The Lighthouse Club.
When is it?
Our consultants will be taking part in Suits on Site over the next couple of weeks.
How much should I donate?
Generally, the equivalent of a day’s wages. However, in the past consultants have raised over £300 alone for one day’s work.
What is the charity?
All money raised will go towards The Lighthouse Club Benevolent Fund – a charity supporting victims of construction workplace accidents and their families. For further information visit www.lighthouseclub.org.
How much do we raise?
The Suits on Site event alone usually raises over £3,000. This year we have an ambitious target of £5,000. Combined with our other fundraising activities, such as the Construction 5’s football event, pub quizzes and race nights, we raise tens of thousands of pounds for The Lighthouse Club every year.
What will happen on the day?
Your consultant will work on site, on an agreed date and location.
How do I donate the money?
All money raised goes directly to the Lighthouse Club. Please make a cheque payable to the ‘Lighthouse Club Benevolent Fund’ and give this to your consultant as they leave your site.
What if I have further questions?
Please contact your local recruitment consultant if you are interested in taking part or have any further questions.
