Cat Evans scoops Temp of the Year Award
Hays Marketing, the leading consultancy specialising in marketing jobs, awarded its 'Temp of the Year' accolade to Cat Evans, who is currently working as an Assistant Production Manager at Abbey. Zoe Skilton of the Driving Standards Agency took the runners-up accolade.
Priceless input
High praise was lavished on Cat from Charlotte James, Production Manager at Abbey, “Cat is able to keep the department ticking over when I'm away and after only four days with the company she was able to take on my main daily duties.”
Cat paid tribute to the influence and importance of the temporary workforce, adding: "I was thrilled to win the award - it just goes to show how much temporary workers are needed, and that the work that we do is valued more than we know!"
Going the extra mile
Runner-up was Zoe Skilton, nominated by Kathryn Wills, Corporate Communications Manager at the Driving Standards Agency.
“Zoe is enthusiastic, innovative and inspirational. She has taken on a number of projects all of which have been completed successfully. She will always go the extra mile to get the job done,” said Kathryn Wills.
Zoe paid tribute to Hays Marketing and the DSA: "I'm very pleased to be awarded this, it was very unexpected. I've been very happy with Hays Marketing and the position here at the DSA."
Recognition for outstanding effort
Lynne Hardman, Managing Director of Hays Marketing, was also elated at the recognition afforded to temporary and interim workers, “The awards were a tremendous success and it was a pleasure to receive so many outstanding nominations.”
