Hays City Cup 2007
Firstly, thank you to everyone who took part in the inaugural Hays City Cup. We do hope that you found it enjoyable and will be back to compete again next year.
Congratulations to the Barclays Capital side captained by Thomas Hanson, who narrowly beat Credit Suisse in a dramatic final in Regents Park.
Credit Suisse scored an impressive 127 after 16 overs, with a classy innings of 54 by Jay Jeremiah. Barclays Capital set about chasing the total with some extremely aggressive batting, in particular Anup Gupta who scored 56 with a strike rate of 225! Barclays Capital managed to chase it down with two balls to spare.
